Paul Williams: still alive as of 4:15am, 7-3-12.
4:27
Did you know Paul Williams co wrote Rainbow Connection AND collaborated with the Scissor Sisters? Me either. Until now.
Thank YOU, marked-down butcher's special chipotle chicken skewers.
4:32
Being the author of Rainy Days and Mondays, Paul Williams must have at least one snarky friend who calls him every time it rains on Monday. "Bro. Just saw the weather. Need me to come over?"
4:39
My dog puked at 2:30. He excused himself without fanfare, walked politely to my son's room and horked by his nightstand. Like an Old Fashioned Love Song, commin' down in three-part harmony.
4:41
Yeah. He had the chicken too.
4:45
If I had my headphones up here, I'd check to verify this, but I think the Three Dog Night, in their cover of OFLS, sang the line about three-part harmony in unison.
Man, this is going to bother me. Maybe I can Google "Three Dog Night" and "Irony" and see what comes up.

Wiki Answers has entertained the question of who sang One Is the Lonliest Number. Someone mentioned irony elsewhere on the page.
I hadn't considered until just then that the song in question is being sung by three guys and is essentially about how nice it it not to just be, like, one guy.
I guess that's not really ironic as much as it is aggressively mean-spirited.

I think the title of that song is just One.
They should have approached the people at School House Rock about getting it into that series. I don't remember them having a song about the number 1. They covered 0 (Zero My Hero) and doing math outside of base ten (Little Twelve Toes) but I can't think of a cartoon for 1.
That base 12 arithmetic came in real handy, School House Rock.

How high were you?

My daughter was up sick before the dog, actually. She didn't have the chicken. She has a summer cold / cough thing she's been fighting. I don't generally get woken up unless something interesting comes out of the dog.
5:46
Just dropped the phone on my face.
5:57
You know, if Paul Williams dies tomorrow, you're all going to be like "That's so weird! I'm Facebook friends with this guy... and he was up all night... and he was like going on and on..." and I'm going to feel like an ass. And then I'm going to start to think I have supernatural abilities. Man, if he dies, it's really going to complicate my sense of self..
6:01
Chances are, Paul Williams is sound asleep and not thinking that his heart will stop beating if he stops thinking about his heart beating.
6:02
Oh, look. The sun.
